This is a PDF pattern for the Octagon Summer bag. It can be used as a cross body bag or you can easily transform it into a hand bag or project bag if the strap is adjusted to a shorter length. It is a compact yet roomy design with four inside pockets. Combination of patchwork flap and quilted solid exterior is a timeless classic combo with a modern twist on shape and scrappy strap (with an option to make leather strap holders and add leather strap). It is aimed at confident beginner sewists who would like to explore new shapes and have experience with EPP and sewing.
