Aurifil 80 weight - 2ply, 100% Egyptian cotton threads grown in the Mako region of Egypt and manufactured in Milan, Italy. Small wooden spool  has 300yd/274m of 80 wt thread.
 
This thread is perfect for hand sewing techniques, for example, English paper piecing (EPP) and needle turn applique. Since it is so fine, it makes your stitching almost invisible. To prevent thread breaking I recommend using shorter lengths and a fine needle with large eye.
