Scrappy Journal Cover is an easy and versatile pattern. A lovely design that you can embellish or keep simple, adding personal touches that you wish to. I give instructions for the background either pieced from scraps or made from one piece of fabric, two types of embellishments (fussy cut or English Paper Piecing (EPP). But you can be as creative as you want in your layout/stitching/embellishments and use what you have in your stash (for example, embroidery, lace, vintage linens or use a different fabric for the spine of the journal). You can adapt the pattern to fit a journal of any size. 
The pattern includes printable templates for embellishments and the required EPP shapes (½” (1.3cm) hexagons).

You will receive a zip folder with 2 files
- a 13-page-PDF pattern that includes instructions and tips
- printable templates for round embellishments and 1/2" (1.3cm) hexagons

You will need access to a printer to print out the templates and the EPP shapes. 
 
Finished journal, fabrics and supplies are not included. The pattern will be available for instant download once your payment is processed.
